Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in Albury staff raised money throughout the 2019 year. Their donation to AgBiz Care will be used to purchase IGA Supermarket $100 vouchers, which will then be given directly to local farmers in need as the drought continues it's impact. Download media release>>>
Fairleys Supa IGA Shepparton – Thanks to very generous donations from Fairleys SUPA IGA we have distributed much needed grocery vouchers to farming families doing it tough as a result of the dairy milk price drop.
Lions Need for Feed – As a result of donations from local Lions clubs we have been able to distribute additional grocery vouchers to farming families in the northern Victoria.
Freemasons Victoria – A generous donation by Freemasons Victoria has enabled us to extend our support services to additional farming families.
Clayton Utz – Clayton Utz has provided both corporate assistance and donations which have allowed us to provide free financial counselling services and grocery vouchers to rural and regional families suffering financial and personal hardship.
Kyabram Uniting Church – The Kyabram Uniting Church donations provided additional household support to families dependent on struggling farm businesses as their main source of income.
Rotary Clubs of North Balwyn and Balwyn – together with the Rotary Club of Numurkah have developed a Numurkah drought relief program. The key strategy of the program is for these Melbourne clubs to provide financial support to farming families in Numurkah and district. The clubs hope these vouchers will help reinvorgarate the local economy.
Soroptimists International of Shepparton – Coordinated donations from other Victorian Soroptimist clubs to go towards the purchase of food vouchers supporting farming families affected by recent events in the dairy industry.
The Kyamba Foundation – The Kyamba Foundation’s mission is to support rural and regional organisations and individuals to develop their potential. The foundation has generously funded Shared Futures Forums: Leadership for family business with keynote speakers Mike Stephens and Martin Tobin, to enable events to be held free of charge for participants in Benalla, Wangaratta and Wodonga.
The Lions Club of Lavington – Kindly donated funds for IGA Supermarket $100 vouchers, helping 100 of our region's local farmers in crisis as the 2018 drought impacts our region. The donation was timely with Christmas approaching.
Wodonga Real Estate – Fundraising from a BBQ held for drought affected farmers has been donated to AgBiz Care for distribution as IGA Supermarket vouchers to clients ahead of Christmas.
